Is procrastinating a good thing?

In most cases, delaying or waiting to not do something important has been given a bad reputation and often makes you feel lazy and uninspired. But what if we’ve been taught wrong this whole time? What if procrastinating really brings some positive results to your daily errand or even your important decision?

Slowing things down and really nailing your focus is the best thing to do when considering certain options. Like the time when your parents took you to the toy store when you were a child. You don’t want to rush, aren’t you? Because a chance like that isn’t happening very often and you want the best choice possible every single time. If we thought about it for a second, it’s actually a clever thing because it can bring clarity to your decision.

Taking time in the absence and letting your important work wait can help you avoid things like over-think and over-inspired. Just the right amount of thoughts and inspirations can bring the best out of you. But when you overdo it, things start to jumble up and it’s hard to clarify what you’re working on. And because of that instead of doing work, you’ll just sit and googled everything for a countless hours. (yes, I’ve done it)

So, if you feel like procrastinating, always remember to not just get the job “done right now”, but get the job “done right, now”.

Well, maybe not right now but in a near future. (because it can wait, right?)
